Jeffrey Swider Peltz

Jeffrey Swider Peltz is a Chicago-based artist; born and raised in the western suburbs of Chicago. After competing internationally in ice speedskating, they transitioned to teaching and visual art. Working across drawing, murals, installation, and performance, their practice explores human connection, public art, and their athletic background. Themes of time, repetition, and physical limitation are central, with lines and tape, echoing speedskating training, appearing throughout their work.
