Listen, Listen, Valdez’s second solo show, invites viewers to tune into the wisdom of nature, seeking guidance from the spirit world to foster healing and harmony within ourselves and our relationships.
This body of work captures the delicate balance between the physical and spiritual worlds, encouraging viewers to listen deeply to their bodies, the people around them, and the natural world. Through these contemplative pieces, the exhibition opens doors to reflection, inviting an exploration of our inner and outer connections.
Taylor Ana Valdez draws inspiration from nature-based practices and spiritual traditions from around the world. This entire body of work was created on a farm in Montana, located on the outskirts of Glacier National Park.
At VSG, our belief in Taylor Ana Valdez’s work runs deep. This commitment marks the first time we’ve dedicated all three gallery rooms to a single artist’s solo show. This collection includes 10 paintings, 12 graphite works on paper, and 4 oil works on paper, each framed with care to harmonize with the space.
