Suite Sweets : A Solo Show with Pamela Johnson at the United Center

Positioned within one of the most iconic sports venues in the world, the exhibition showcases Johnson's larger-than-life paintings at a scale that mirrors the spectacle and excess of the United Center arena itself.

Johnson's work, featured in New American Paintings, The New York Times, PBS, and Juxtapose, explores America's insatiable appetite through teetering towers of hamburgers, towering cakes, and sugar-laden abundance.

Her paintings confront a culture of mass consumption.  Exaggerated scale and gluttonous quantities oscillate between allure and repulsion, reflecting the tension between indulgence and excess.

This show is on display through all Chicago Bulls, Chicago Blackhawks games, along with concerts and special events at the United Center with tickets to the Banner Level.
