Biography

Griffin Goodman (b. 1995) is a Detroit-born, Chicago-based visual artist who crafts maximalist, large-scale paintings exploring the intersection of nostalgia and modern identity. By weaving together pop culture and personal imagery, Goodman creates dense compositions he describes as a "combination of Where’s Waldo and Andy Warhol."

Goodman earned his MFA in Painting and Drawing from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC) and his BFA from Ringling College of Art and Design. His career is marked by high-profile brand collaborations with the Chicago Bulls, Warner Brothers, and Lollapalooza. Following a 2025 institutional exhibition at his alma mater, Ringling, Goodman was named to the Forbes 30 Under 30 national list for Art & Style, cementing his status as a leading voice in contemporary art.
